VEEM’s state-of-the-art machine shop uses high end equipment to provide market leading products for our customers in the defence and marine sectors. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys interesting and high precision work and enjoys being part of a great team.

Your Responsibilities

In the position of CNC Machinist at VEEM you will be required to apply your proven programming experience as part of a productive and successful team. Experience ISO G Code will be considered an advantage.

Specific responsibilities of the CNC Machinist position include:

  • Operating 5 Axis  CNC machines you will need to know how to read, understand and edit the provided programs,

  • Liaise with the programming team.

  • Meeting the ever-changing needs of the production schedule in order to attain established KPIs.

  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high workmanship standard.

  • Maintaining a safe, happy and reliable work environment.

  • Full time day shift

Your Skills & Experience

To be considered for the CNC Machinist position, you will have:

  • relevant machinist qualifications at a trade level or higher;

  • Ability to read and edit ISO (G-Code) programming language

  • experience in a large engineering/manufacturing environment

  • a high level of personal honesty and integrity
