LE Williams is actively seeking an experienced tradesperson with expertise in fitting and turning or toolmaking to join our close-knit and skilled team. What a day working with us may include: 

  • Executing programmed machining tasks on CNC machines

  • Adhering to quality control standards and ensuring that machined components meet specifications

  • Operating CNC machines with precision and monitoring their performance throughout the production process

  • Setting up the next machining operation by installing fixtures, tools, and programming sequences

  • Programming CNC machines for various operations and ensuring accurate and efficient production

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • The successful candidate must be a Permanent Australian Resident and will may be subject to an Australian Police check to be offered the position.

  • A Good Level Of Safety-Consciousness

  • Trade qualification

  • Australian “C” Class driver’s license

  • A proactive and flexible approach to fluctuating workloads

  • Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a CNC machining workshop and proficiency in utilising and comprehending Mastercam.

  • Ability to work under limited supervision for routine situations

  • Good communication and time-management skills

  • Ability to provide assistance and support to fellow employees

Where you will be working:

Our main office is situated in Wilberforce, NSW, and the primary work location will be at our headquarters. As a part of your responsibilities, there may be instances where travel to other regions within NSW will be required for scoping new work tasks.
