To excel in this position, it is imperative that you possess prior experience along with verifiable qualifications, skills and experience,
Scope:
To operate CNC vertical milling machine, Lathe and carry out minor component repairs.
Relationships and Authority:
Report to: Workshop Leading hand and site Manager
Liaise with: Manager, Planner, Admin & all staff.
External contacts: Customers from time to time
Ensure work is carried out in a safe manner in a team environment.
Operate CNC Machinery on a day-to-day basis – Fanuc, Siemens & Okuma OSP
Implement continuous improvement in processes, systems, and safety procedures.
Work closely with Leading hand to meet customer service expectations.
Provide relevant feedback to the Leading hand and site Manager for continuous product improvement.
Adhere to OH&S and Environmental policy and procedures.
Perform relevant work tasks as directed by the workshop Leading hand.
